Working principle

The Ajax FireProtect PLUS smoke / CO detector wireless (white) is made to protect you against the dangers of fire, smoke and carbon monoxide. The sensor sounds an alarm if smoke is detected, or the temperature rises above 60°C or rises rapidly in a short time. In addition, as the name implies, this detector also protects you from a dangerous presence of carbon monoxide. There are three different situations in which the CO alarm can go off:

• 50 ppm (0.005%) for a period of 60-90 minutes
• 100 ppm (0.01%) for a period of 10-40 minutes
• 300ppm (0.03%) in three minutes

The Ajax FireProtect PLUS can work as a standalone device, but can also be combined with the Ajax Hub and the Ajax Security Systems app. You will also receive notifications on your phone!

Install Ajax FireProtect PLUS smoke / CO detector

With the included SmartBracket mounting panel, you can easily install the Ajax FireProtect PLUS smoke / CO detector. It is best to place the smoke detector at the highest point (the ceiling) in the room, as smoke and warm air will collect there. Also consider the distance to the Ajax Hub and objects or surfaces that will hinder the connection. Do not place the Ajax FireProtect PLUS near an open window or a fan (because of the fast air circulation) or in a room with too high a degree of humidity.

The Ajax FireProtect PLUS works autonomously. If you want to install the smoke detector including the Ajax Hub, you must first connect the detector. This can be done easily using the QR code and the Ajax Security Systems app. After the smoke detector has been successfully paired, you can mount it in the SmartBracket.
