WiFi connection with Hik-Connect directly is not possible, but it is possible if you use an NVR from Hikvision.

A 12 volt power supply is included, so you do not need to order additionally.

This model cannot be connected to POE.

Note: It is best to combine this camera with a Hikvision Network Video Recorder (NVR) so that you can view the live and recorded images with the free Hik-connect app.

The Hikvision DS-2CV2141G2-IDW displays images in a Full HD 2560x1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in matrix IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has a fixed lens of 2.8mm.

The Hikvision dome network camera DS-2CV2141G2-IDW for outdoor use is equipped with 1/2.7" Progressive Scan 4MP CMOS and has a built-in dual antenna 2.4G Wi-Fi, up to 120 m range in open space. This IP camera supports two-way audio Built-in micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, up to 256 GB and EXIR, 30 m IR range.

If you order the optional wall bracket model DS-1272ZJ-120, we would like to point out the following explanation and photos;

"Unscrew the head from the wall bracket.

Place the rubber ring properly on the head of the wall bracket.

Mount the small round plate of the camera on the head with 2 screws from the bag that came with the wall bracket.

It says "front" on the small plate, which should ultimately be pointed forward.

Guide the cable along the plastic circle through the head.

Turn the camera onto the plastic plate and turn until you hear a click.

Turn the assembly onto the wall bracket and guide the cable through the bracket.

Make sure the camera antennas are at the back and the camera logo is facing forward.

Now secure the head securely with the small screw from the support box.

You don't have to worry about water getting between the edge of the camera and the support, the camera is water resistant on the top."
