DS-K1201EF, Fingerprint Card Reader

DS-K1201-series fingerprint and card reader, designed with a 32-bit high-speed processor, contains an optical fingerprint recognition module. It communicates with the access control via the RS-485 protocol. The reader is tested in accordance with IP65, so that the reader can be used outside.

Hikvision supplies card readers with the option of reading EM or MiFare. This choice is in the reader and cannot be adjusted in terms of software. MiFare has a heavier encryption. If other EM solutions are already present, EM can also be chosen.
