The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS is a 5 megapixel Full HD eyeball camera with infrared night vision and a motorized varifocal lens suitable for indoor or outdoor, PoE and microSD recording. The camera must be used with the Dahua SmartPSS and Toolbox software and the Dahua DMSS app.

Opportunities
The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS displays images in a Full HD 2592x1944 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter and is therefore a real day / night camera. In dark conditions the camera can switch on the built-in IR lighting, so that even in complete darkness (0 Lux) there is a razor-sharp image. The IR lighting has a range of no less than 50 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which means that the camera can handle complex lighting conditions very well as a result of, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

With the motorized adjustable 2.7 to 13.5mm varifocal lens, it is possible to focus the camera remotely on an image far away or an image close by. Because of this zoom in and zoom out, the angle of view varies between 95 and 27 degrees. Note that the camera cannot rotate remotely, you must have a so-called PTZ camera.

Images can, among other things, be stored on a Network Video Recorder (NVR). Suitable NVRs are listed under the "Related" tab. The camera also has the possibility to record in the camera on a microSD memory card up to a maximum of 128Gb.

Dahua has a free Dutch-language app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed with a web browser. On the website of Dahua you can download free Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer.

The Dahua IPC-HDW2531RP-ZS has an IP67 rating, making the camera extremely suitable for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable with Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af POE). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power supply adapter. Under "related products" it can be indicated whether an adapter and / or Dahua mounting bracket must be supplied. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and is therefore also very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
