Visonic Remote Control MCT-234
Visonic MCT-234 wireless remote control is a miniature CodeSecure (rolling code) 4-button transmitter (4 functions), designed for use in the advanced wireless high-security alarm system the PowerMax.
Transmission is achieved by pressing one of the four buttons. When a button is pressed, the MCT-234 will send a CodeSecure digital signal with a 4 bit function code, only to be received by a CodeSecure receiver.
By using Code Secure technology, a signal with a different order than the previous transmission will be sent with the next transmission of the MCT-234. This makes it virtually impossible for unauthorized people to "catch" and use the code.
Power is obtained from an internal 12 V alkaline battery. (Included.) A red LED during transmission as long as the battery voltage is higher than 8.6 V. If the LED starts flashing during transmission, the battery must be replaced immediately. A "low battery" message will now also be sent with every message sent.
Code Secure receivers are designed to identify this message and then to control the corresponding output. Each transmitter is equipped with a small key ring.
