EN54 FireProtect Jeweller detectors combine certified reliability with easy installation. This wireless series includes addressable smoke and heat detectors, some of which are combined with built-in sirens. Each detector offers best-in-class accurate detection thanks to Ajax's patented smoke chamber, dual-spectrum optical sensor and two accurate thermistors. With built-in communicators, long battery life and stable radio communication, the devices are ready for projects of varying sizes. There is no need to open the housing to connect cables; indeed, installation and configuration takes only minutes via the Ajax apps. Early maintenance notifications and automated maintenance reports via Ajax PRO Desktop ensure that the system keeps working for years.
Two built-in thermistors detect a rapid rise in temperature or when the temperature exceeds the threshold. These thermistors trigger an alarm when a rapid temperature rise or static temperature is detected. The mode for the heat detector can be selected in the app: A1R/A1S/BR/BS/CS or fixed temperature.
This approach ensures that flames and heat development from smoldering material are quickly detected and reported.
The detectors are powered by pre-installed batteries on which the device can operate for 5 years. They provide advance notification that the batteries are low. Installers and users receive notifications from their Ajax apps. The EN54 FireProtect Jeweller detectors also provide low battery notification via an LED indicator and an audible signal. Thanks to the battery covers, replacing the battery is quick and easy; you don't need additional tools.
