Hikvision DS-3E1309P-EI, 8-Port Smart Managed PoE Switch

The Hikvision DS-3E1309P-EI is a powerful and reliable 8-port Smart Managed PoE switch, specifically designed to connect and power IP cameras and other network devices. Thanks to the combination of Power over Ethernet (PoE), smart networking features, and a total PoE power output of 110 watts, this switch is ideal for both residential and professional camera security systems.

8 PoE ports for easy connection

The DS-3E1309P-EI features 8 Fast Ethernet PoE ports (10/100 Mbps) and 1 Gigabit RJ45 uplink port (1000 Mbps). The PoE ports allow compatible IP cameras to be powered and connected to the network directly using just a single network cable. This eliminates the need for separate power adapters for the cameras and keeps the installation neat and organized.

With a total PoE budget of 110 watts and up to 30 watts per port, this switch offers sufficient capacity for multiple IP cameras and other PoE devices.

Smart Network Management and Automatic Camera Monitoring

Thanks to its Smart Managed functionality, this Hikvision switch offers extensive network management and monitoring capabilities. Through the management interface, you can monitor the network status, PoE consumption, and connected devices, among other things.

The integrated PoE Watchdog feature automatically checks whether connected cameras are still responding. If a camera stops responding, the switch can automatically reboot the corresponding PoE port. This helps resolve network issues more quickly and ensures the camera system continues to operate more reliably.

PoE transmission up to 300 meters

The Hikvision DS-3E1309P-EI supports an extended PoE transmission distance of up to 300 meters in Long Range mode. This makes the switch particularly well-suited for larger buildings, warehouses, and industrial sites where cameras are installed at a greater distance from the network infrastructure.

The maximum distance depends on the network cable used, the connected devices, and the installation conditions.

Advanced Network Security

The switch supports various smart network features, including VLAN configuration, port isolation, and STP/RSTP loop prevention. This allows for a well-organized network setup and helps minimize unwanted network connections and disruptions.

In addition, the switch features 6 kV surge protection, providing connected devices with extra protection against voltage spikes.

Compact and Reliable Design

Thanks to its sturdy metal housing and fanless design, the DS-3E1309P-EI operates completely silently. Its compact size makes the switch suitable for placement on a desk, in a utility room, or on a wall.
