    JA-110A

    Service explanation for JA-110A

    BUS internal siren

This product is part of the JABLOTRON JA-100 alarm system. It provides the display of an indoor alarm. Other sound indications are also possible. By pressing the siren, the alarm can be extinguished or the emergency alarm is called (functionality can be set). The siren is intended for installation by a trained technician with a valid Jablotron certificate.
    Installation
The siren can be mounted directly on the wall or on a device installation box (without the lower plastic part).

    1. Remove the body of the siren from the frame - by prying with a screwdriver in the vertical gap (1.).
    2. Remove the frame (3.) by pressing the clamps (2.).
    3. Select a suitable passage and pull the bus cable through.
    4. Screw the plastic back panel into place at the selected location.

Before connecting the BUS, the system must be disconnected from the power supply.

    5. Connect bus cable.
    6. Complete the siren configuration. Please note, the tamper sensor (7) must be above the magnet in lower plastic. If the siren is mounted on the installation box (without lower plastic part), then move the magnet in the frame of the siren.
    7. Follow the instructions for installing the control panel. Basic Steps:
    a. After switching on, the yellow signal light (1) flashes because the siren is not assigned to the system.
    b. Select the desired position in the F-Link program on the Peripherals card and start the learning mode with the Read button.
    8. Press the siren (up or down) - it will learn and the yellow light will go out.

    Set properties
This is done by the F-Link program – Card Peripherals. On siren position Use internal setting. A dialog appears, allowing settings to be made (* indicates the factory setting)
Section: This determines which sections the siren will operate for and may also signal entry/exit delay and arming. The sound signal is set for all sections from the factory.*
Reaction: This determines whether the siren will sound on signal IW* (warning inside) or EW (warning outside). The alarm sound can also be turned off completely (other functions are retained).
Siren wails: with interruptions*, without interruptions
    Lowing duration limitation: 1, 2, 3*,4, 5 minutes.
Louder sound: YES / NO* - this only affects entry/exit delay signaling and the sounds on contact of PG outputs.
Beep on section operation: YES / NO* - if enabled, the siren beeps 1x on arming, 2x on disarming and 3x on disarming after an alarm. Only for the set sections.
Beep sound on entry and exit delay: YES / NO* if enabled, signals the exit and entry delay of the set sections.

    Sound of PG outputs:
A sound signal can be set for each PG output:
Sound 1 – slow beeping 1 x per second (as long as the PG is on)
Sound 2 – rapid beep 2 x per second (as long as the PG is on)
Sound 3 - 1x beep when switching on the PG, 2x when switching off the PG
Sound 4 – long beep sound for 20 sec when turning on PG

    Siren Operation Priorities:
The highest priority is for the siren to sound, the lower priority is for the beeping on operation, the lowest is the activity of the PG outputs (PG1 higher than PG2, etc.). The higher priority sound always ends the lower priority sound.

    System response to siren presses
It is set from the factory that the siren switches off the sound when pressed during panic and also confirms that a person is present in the object (a report is sent). In the Peripherals card of the F-Link program you can change the function of the siren push button to emergency push button in the Reaction column. In that case, the system in the section in which the position of the siren is assigned will respond with a silent alarm.
If the system is operating in service mode, a long press will test the siren's function.
