The Hikvision DS-2CD2183G2-IS 2.8mm 8mp fixed dome camera is equipped with an 8mp 1/3″ CMOS sensor that provides good video coverage even in low light. This camera has smart detection via Acusense technology.

Together with an IR illumination, with a range of up to 30m, the Hikvision DS-2CD2183G2-IS 2.8mm 8mp fixed dome network camera can also work in complete darkness. The 2.8mm lens has a viewing angle of 100°. The IP67-rated housing of the Hikvision DS-2CD2183G2-IS 2.8mm 8mp fixed dome network camera protects the electronics against adverse weather conditions.

The Hikvision DS-2C2183G2-IS 2.8mm 8mp fixed dome network camera belongs to a new EasyIP Lite series that is characterized by high performance and an affordable price. The series supports motion and video tampering detection.

The cameras in the series also offer corridor mode and the ability to define one Region of Interest (ROI).

Hik-Connect is a mobile application intended for smartphones with Android or iOS operating systems. It can be used to remotely view live footage from DVRs, NVRs, network cameras via Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G networks and play back recorded video files.

The degree of protection (IK classification) provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical influences is defined in the standard EN 62262. The camera can be powered conventionally from a 12 VDC source or using PoE option (802.3af).
