The Dahua IPC-HDW3441T-ZAS is a Full HD 4 megapixel eyeball Starlight Lite AI camera with a highly light-sensitive image sensor and 50 meter infrared night vision, built-in microphone, 120db WDR, PoE power supply and MicroSD recording for indoors or outdoors.

The camera belongs to the Dahua Lite AI series with an Artificial Intelligence chip for support for intelligent functions such as perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection Plus (SMD Plus). SMD provides reliable motion detection by object filtering. False alarms caused by, for example, pets, leaves, light and other disturbing objects are minimized. The advanced Al also supports fast searches from recorded video as it is able to extract and classify people and vehicles from large amounts of video data.

The Dahua IPC-HDW3441T-ZAS displays images in a Full HD 2688x1520 resolution. The camera has a fixed lens. The camera has Dahua Starlight Technology making it ideal for applications with challenging light conditions. Due to the highly light-sensitive image sensor, the camera delivers a usable image with a minimum of ambient light, even in almost complete darkness (0.005 lux).

The camera has a built-in automatic day/night IR-cut filter and can also switch on the built-in IR lighting in dark conditions, so that even in complete darkness (0 Lux) there is a razor-sharp image. The IR lighting has a very large range of no less than 50 meters. The camera has 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which means that the camera can handle complex lighting conditions very well as a result of, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights.

Images can be stored, among other things, on a Network Video Recorder (NVR). The camera also has the option to record in the camera on a Micro-SD memory card of up to 256GB (not included). The camera has a built-in microphone.

Dahua has a free Dutch app available for Apple iOS and Android. The camera has an internal web server that can be viewed and managed using a web browser. Free Video Management Software (VMS) for a computer can be downloaded from the Dahua website. The "Documentation" tab includes a link to the manufacturer's product page.

The Dahua IPC-HDW3441T-ZAS has an IP67 rating, making the camera extremely suitable for outdoor use. For ease of installation, the camera can be powered via the network cable using Power over Ethernet (standard 802.3af P0E). PoE can be obtained through a PoE NVR, a PoE switch or with a PoE injector. The camera can also be powered with an optional 12V power adapter. Under the options tab you can indicate whether an adapter and/or Dahua mounting bracket should be included. The camera is adjustable over 3 axes and therefore very suitable for placing vertically against a wall.
