Q. The plugin has been downloaded, but I still get a message that it is not installed?
A. Currently, the HikVision Plugin is only supported by the following web browsers:
- Internet Explorer (Attention! Microsoft Edge does not work!)
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari on iOS (iMac)
Unfortunately, Google Chrome no longer supports the Plugin!

Q. The camera gives white spots at night?
A. It can happen that there is moisture, grease or dirt on the dome of the dome camera, which causes the infrared light to reflect back into the lens. The dome needs to be cleaned to solve this problem.
